Note: The tour includes quite a bit of walking, so be sure to wear comfortable footwear. Some of the venues are accessible via steps. We sometimes have a little rain in Wales so an umbrella might be handy! Some venues serve tap water, if you would like to bring a water bottle with you, there are refill points on the route.

Our LWF guide meets you inside Cardiff Castle. The guide will talk briefly about the castle and point out the various attractions within the castle. Our first tasting stop is in the Keep Terrace cafe for Welsh tea/coffee and bara brith (Welsh fruitcake).
Tuck into some buttery Welsh cheeses and find out about our fabulous range of dairy products.
We stroll past many of Cardiff’s famous landmarks – including a photo opportunity outside Cardiff’s famous Principality Stadium – the home of Welsh rugby!
We visit Cardiff’s vibrant, indoor market, and taste 2 of Wales’ most famous products – cockles and laverbread.
Enjoy a refreshing local cider/beer or ale. Alcohol free and soft drinks are available.
